All unpacked! Um, sort of. Yarn's in plastic bags, because I'm paranoid. All of these I currently use a lot except the one on the left end, it's new to me... I think it'll work well, although the photo on the site didn't really convey the colours all that accurately. Yes, there's two of the rainbow one beside the white: it's the one colour I use more than any other, and I'm constantly running out! The four at the end are larger than the other six, just a matter of what's available in which line, but all Red Heart.

Prysma's yarn box! Emptied it, cleaned out the catnip dust from the bottom (how'd that get there?), removed a couple of solids that I never actually use anymore, and packed everything away again. I have at least this much again, in colours that just did NOT work at all, or different weights, that I keep anyway. I keep meaning to make another batch of disposable toys for the shelter, and never get to it. I need a way to write and make toys at the same time!

How is this comfy??? Oh well... he has a replacement for the extremely battered little white one he's been in all the time lately, I guess. This is a good thing, since I don't know how much longer that one was going to endure!

These look great, have fun! As for teh makin toys an writing at the same time: There are various speech dictate softwares out there, maybe there’s even a free version? I used one to write my Masters thesis when my wrists were badly inflammated. It worked out purrfectlee, despite my mix of South African an British English, probably seasoned wiff a German accent and sprinkled with countless technical terms…

    • Oops, sorry about the delay – you know what life gets like sometimes. :-)

I would probably give dictation software a nervous breakdown, especially if I’m writing one of my other-world fantasies: far too many exotic proper names of people and places and non-human races and Ceiling Cat knows what else! And when I get excited, I talk really fast. LOL

However, it does look like Linux has several open-source and otherwise free possibilities, mostly meant for accessibility – much better than the last time I looked several years back. Worth trying!

And I don’t find you at all difficult to understand. :P You probably enunciate words more clearly than I do!
