Loki and Trick get grouchy with Cory sometimes (they do not and would not hurt him, though), but at worst, Angel just gets up and walks away from him, no matter how rough he gets sometimes when he wants to play.

I’m so happy for Cory (and all of you) that in addition to the excellent human hand-raising he’s receiving, that Angel is taking over some mom-cat duties. It must be nice for him to be treated by her the way baby cats are treated by their moms … I once bottle-raised a kitten … and my old cat Sweetness did everything for him except nurse him: washed him, taught him manners, played with him, taught him to use the litter box, etc. All this from an older female who’d never had a litter.
I have a question for Plasticat or Uniquekitty … but I’m not part of the ICHC community, so don’t know how to reach them … in one of the photos of Plasticat with Eva, there’s a little house in the background … kind of Eva-sized, not Tira or Unique size. My question is, was this built for her? It is so cute!

Thanks, Kathlyn. I appreciate the comments — it’s good to know that there’s an audience out there, and cool to now that not all of that audience is ICHC friends.
It’s amazing how they can respond even though they’ve never had the biological trigger of having a litter themselves, isn’t it? (Although for all I know, Angel might have before I found her…) Her affection for him is a factor in why we’ve decided to keep him, assuming the application is approved. Hurray for another human who puts all the work into bottle-feeding a kitten! *hugs*

I love the way Angel seems to be saying “I am going to wash you and you are going to like it, young man”
