One of Cory’s favourite games, a variation of “bedmouse” — that’s my hand inside that little towel, being his “prey” to “kill”. Can you hear the purring? Just a warning if you try this with your cat: Cory is very gentle, and I’m his mom, and the rules have always been that wrestling is okay as long as there’s a towel or blanket between his pointy ends and my skin. SCP Pics Overload!

Tomorrow morning, the Silver Cuddle Puddle go to the Humane Society for their second vaccinations and deworming, and then go up for adoption. I believe they’re going to the Kingston PetSmart. I’m sending them with 4 copies of a CD of pictures and videos, which will also have a link to this blog. If their new families are willing to let the babycats’ fans know how they’re doing, I’d be delighted, but that’s up to them and what they’re comfortable with. We’re going to miss them very much, they’re all so sweet and loving, although it will be a relief…

SCP Update & Pics

The Silver Cuddle Puddle are now all in the ballpark of 1.5 pounds of incredible energy, confidence, curiosity, and cuddliness. I’m very proud of them for figuring out how to eat wet food and then moving on to dry food, and for figuring out the litterbox — all with no mom to teach them, and before we let them start spending much time with the other cats! Aurora was the first at the wet food, first to use the litter box, first to start playing with toys… she’s generally the one who works things out and then the rest imitate…
