Okay, so this isn’t Eva – but I still thought it was cute. It is Tira, when she was about 3 months old, guarding the entrance to a Lego fortress.

Eva exhausted herself playing with a Kong Wubba on an elastic string that we had bought for Tira. she climbed up on the computer desk, started climbing over the book (“The Stand” by Stephen King) and just fell asleep there!

It has been five days since we brought Eva home and she seems to be quite happy here. It appears that she likes me a lot and she cries when I leave my room to go to the bathroom or to eat. She almost always wants me to hold her and when she doesn’t she wants me to play with her. Right now she’s taking a nap so she can keep me up all night but the diva is very energetic about twenty-two and three-quarter hours a day. Uniquekitty and Plasticat, along with Uniquekitty’s husband, left Camden NY around 8AM on Saturday, May 23, to drive to Kingston to adopt Eva. It is about a 3 hour drive, depending on the border crossing, and we wanted to make sure we had lots of time to spend with PK and Seanya after the paperwork at the Kingston Humane Society was done.
