I’m so annoyed I missed the beginning of this, since the camera wasn’t in reach: Angel had Cory pinned and was washing him vigorously, much to his indignation. I think that’s a lot of why he has such a fierce at the beginning of the video. Angel is very gentle with the babycats, she’ll bat them around but doesn’t use claws or bite hard, and at most she’ll get up and leave if they get too rough. As for this one, there are certainly times Cory has minimal response to visual stimuli (a rather blank stare) but at other times,…

Cory: 1 pound, 4.5 ounces Eva: a fraction of an ounce over 2 pounds No wonder she can flatten him when they play! Cory will be six weeks old in the middle of this coming week, by the original estimate the Humane Society came up with. I’m a little concerned about him — not about his small size (he’s only a little smaller than Eva at a comparable age, actually) but because of his development speed. At almost six weeks of age, I haven’t been able to get him interested in any food except his milk and canned food milk…

uniquekitty and her son plasticat have been officially approved to adopt Eva! Eva gets her second vaccinations on the 19th, possibly 20th due to classes. The 23rd, her new forever-family will be coming to pick her up! I’m excited for her and them, although sad because I’m going to miss her. Original post blogged on b2evolution.

Weights as of today: Eva: 1 pound, 11.9 ounces Cory: 1 pound, 1.2 ounces Now that he’s done teething, Cory’s energy finally seems to be going into growth and exploration. By the way, I’m typing this on my desktop — with Cory asleep on my right shoulder, pressed against the side of my neck, and Eva on my lap under the keyboard tray, swatting at my hands and wrists while I’m typing. It amazes me how strong and agile and adventurous Eva is. Nothing is safe. Cory would, I suspect, be a wonderful companion for someone older and less active,…
